Experience A Grand MasterChef Long Weekend



Retreat to Peppers Manor House in the Southern Highlands this October long weekend for their MasterChef long weekend experience and enjoy deluxe accommodation and a banquet of dining experiences inspired by the series.

Held October 1st and 2nd and priced from $495 per couple per night, the specially crafted weekend package includes accommodation in a Cottage Room, breakfast for two daily at Katers Restaurant, a five-course degustation dinner inspired by the series and a MasterChef Series 2 cookbook to take home. As it is Tulip Time in the Southern Highlands, guests will also receive complimentary Tulip Festival tickets.

The special MasterChef evening on Saturday October 1st begins with pre-dinner drinks and canapés in the retreat’s magnificent Great Hall and will be followed by a sumptuous five-course degustation dinner designed by Executive Chef Francois Razavet.

French born Chef Razavet is also giving food fans an exclusive opportunity to bring MasterChef inspired cuisine into their kitchens with a MasterClass demonstration at noon on Sunday October 2 for an additional $60 per person.

For those wanting an extra long MasterChef experience, additional nights can be booked for $199 per night.

An Innovative Hen's Day Idea



For those brides-to-be who don’t find the idea of pole dancing classes or male strippers appealing, Blue Bowl Brown Sugar cooking classes may be the perfect hen’s day alternative! Taught by Patricia Phillips, who has worked with the likes of Kylie Kwong, Bill Granger and Neil Perry, the classes are relaxed, informal and most importantly, fun!
Upon arrival, you are greeted with a frothing glass of champagne, a Blue Bowl Brown Sugar apron and an in-depth, intimate cooking tutorial. Once you have completed cooking, you are treated to a sit-down meal (complete with a selection of local wines) in which you can reap the benefits of your hard work!

Group classes are of approximately 8 people and are held at the Southern Highlands winery or one-on-one classes are available in the comfort of your home in Sydney and the surrounding areas. The classes feature cuisine that ranges from Italian, French and Spanish to Greek, Moroccan and Asian. Patricia uses locally produced ingredients to support local farmers and enhance the eating experience.

Group classes are $160.00 and private classes are $480.00
