Camelbak Highland Fling

The Southern Highlands once again rolls out its best for riders in the 2013 CamelBak Highland Fling.

Over the weekend of Saturday 9 and Sunday 10 November, the Southern Highlands town of Bundanoon and its surrounding villages will once again welcome some 2,000 mountain bike riders, together with their families, friends and support crews, to the 9th running of the Highland Fling mountain bike marathon. This year proudly sponsored by CamelBak.

This high-profile event attracts a strong field of both Australia’s elite men and women, along with international riders from the UK, Germany, South Africa and a strong New Zealand contingent. World champions, Olympians, and one of Australia’s largest fields of weekend warriors will be mixing it up on the trails – and experiencing what the beautiful Southern Highlands has to offer.

Each year the CamelBak Highland Fling contributes well over $1 million to the regional economy, as well as incorporating numerous fundraising projects for a variety of local community groups.

The event is more than just a race. A weekend schedule of activities combines to create a celebration of biking for everyone.
